Writing a second version of the notice here would create a second source of truth for what people have agreed to, which SPEC §5.8 forbids outright. So this page renders it, and only it, once it is ready. Two of the three things that once gated this page are resolved: a Grievance Officer is named and a registered postal address is on file, both in the notice itself. One remains: the source notice is still marked 0.2-UNREVIEWED and must clear legal review before this page renders it. Once that review clears, the notice renders into the structure below, section for section.

Where it is kept

Your documents and your books are kept on servers in India, in AWS's Mumbai region. Reading a document image may briefly involve a model that runs outside India, only with your own, separate consent, which you may decline.

Isolation

Each client’s data is isolated at the database level rather than separated by application code, so one client’s records are not reachable from another’s session.

This website

These pages are static files. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager and no cookie set by us, which is why you are not being asked to consent to any.

If you write to us

What you send is used to answer you, and nothing else. You are not added to a mailing list.

The record

Entries in your books are traceable to the document behind them and the person who checked them, and exceptions are resolved with a recorded reason.

A question about your own data

Write to us and mark it for the Grievance Officer. Requests about access, correction or erasure are handled by a person, and you will be told what was done.
